NABTEB Result Checker
Check your NABTEB result at eworld.nabteb.gov.ng with your candidate number, exam type and year, plus the serial number and 12-digit PIN from a scratch card. You need a valid PIN before you start — buy one at epins.nabteb.gov.ng for ₦600 if you don't have one.
Check my NABTEB result →How to check your NABTEB result
- Open the portal. Go to eworld.nabteb.gov.ng, NABTEB's official result checker.
- Enter your candidate number. Type it exactly as printed on your exam registration slip.
- Select exam type and year. Choose May/June, Nov/Dec, Modular (March, June, or December), GCE (A-Level), or Common Entrance, then pick the exact year you sat the exam.
- Enter your PIN and serial number. Both are printed on the scratch card. Submit to view and print or download your result.
An alternative SMS checking method exists via short code 32327 — the site states the exact message format to use, so confirm it on the portal before sending, since the format differs by exam type.
NABTEB scratch card / PIN price
The official price is ₦600 per card at epins.nabteb.gov.ng, NABTEB's own e-PIN portal. You can also buy from a NABTEB state or zonal office.
Third-party vendors resell the same PIN for ₦900 to ₦1,100, with instant online delivery. These sites are not NABTEB channels — you're paying a markup for convenience, not a different product. Buy from epins.nabteb.gov.ng first if you can.
One card checks one candidate's result up to five times. Once used five times, or once used by a different candidate number, the card is exhausted and can't be reused — buy a new one.

Troubleshooting the checker
- "Invalid PIN" or "invalid serial number"
- Re-type both fields carefully — the PIN is 12 digits, the serial starts with a letter. A single wrong character produces this error. Confirm you selected the correct exam type and year too.
- Card says it's already used
- The card has reached its five-check limit, or was already used for a different candidate number. Buy a new card — there's no way to reset a used one.
- Result withheld or shows "Result Withheld"
- NABTEB withholds results pending an exam-malpractice investigation or an incomplete registration record. Contact your exam centre or a NABTEB zonal office directly — this isn't something the online checker can fix.
- Wrong candidate number entered
- Check the number on your original registration slip, not from memory. NABTEB candidate numbers are specific to the exam type and year you registered for.
Frequently asked questions
- How much is a NABTEB result checker scratch card?
- The official price at epins.nabteb.gov.ng is ₦600 per card. Third-party vendors charge more — typically ₦900 to ₦1,100 — for the same PIN with instant delivery.
- Where do I buy a genuine NABTEB PIN?
- Buy directly from epins.nabteb.gov.ng, the official NABTEB e-PIN portal, or from a NABTEB state or zonal office. Third-party vendor sites sell the same PIN at a markup — they are not official NABTEB channels.
- How many times can I use one NABTEB card?
- One card checks one candidate’s result up to five times. After five checks, the card is exhausted and you need a new one.
- When will NABTEB release the May/June 2026 result?
- Not yet announced as of 22 July 2026. May/June exams typically run into July, and results are typically released around August — NABTEB released the 2025 Nov/Dec GCE result 64 days after the last paper, and its May/June results have historically followed a similar window. Check eworld.nabteb.gov.ng directly for the release announcement.
- Has the Nov/Dec 2025 GCE result been released?
- Yes. NABTEB released the 2025 Nov/Dec NBC/NTC/ANBC/ANTC GCE result on 9 February 2026, 64 days after the last paper.
- What does "invalid PIN" mean on the NABTEB checker?
- It means the PIN or serial number was typed incorrectly, the card was already used up, or the card is for a different exam type or year than the one you selected. Re-check every character on the card, and confirm you selected the right exam type and year before trying again.
- What's the difference between NBC/NTC and ANBC/ANTC?
- NBC (National Business Certificate) and NTC (National Technical Certificate) are NABTEB’s ordinary-level technical/vocational certificates, taken alongside SSCE-equivalent subjects. ANBC and ANTC are the advanced-level versions, roughly equivalent to A-Level, for candidates progressing beyond the ordinary level.
